Final Day Of Durex HIV/AIDS awareness campaign #1Share1Condom on Facebook and Twitter
For this year’s World AIDS Day —and just in time for Christmas— Durex shows just how good giving (and receiving!) can really be by launching the '#1Share1Condom' campaign on social media. With its latest initiative, Durex hopes to raise HIV/AIDS awareness worldwide and help achieve an HIV-free generation by getting as many people involved as possible.
How? Two words: Social Media or should I say Facebook and Twitter.
For every Facebook HIV message or tweet posted with '#1Share1Condom', Durex will donate a condom to an HIV prevention project somewhere in the world. And since 2.5 million people were infected with the virus last year, the campaign’s goal is to bring that number down by donating just as many condoms. Meanwhile they've already donated close to 2.254.000 million (!) condoms, so they still have 250.000 more to give way- meaning 250.000 more reposts and retweets. I’ve already posted mine.
