Last night, I went to the movies with my friends and we watched Soderbergh’s latest movie "Side effects“, with Jude Law, Catherine Zeta- Jones, Channing Tatum and Rooney Mara. The movie is a psychological thriller about a high achieving couple in NY, whose world unravels when a new drug intended to treat women's anxiety, has an unexpected deadly side effect (it is not what you think, you have to watch it to know what it is). The story was too over the top for my liking, not really something that would happen in real life, but I suppose that is why it is called entertainment. In my opinion, films of this genre should be based on more believable situations; films can be a great way of analyzing a social or personal issue. But aside from that, I liked the actors, especially Rooney Mara. Despite the highly unlikely situations on screen, I had a great time with my friends and the glow carried on today. Stay posted because I am off to Luxembourg over the weekend, I will be posting here next week entries about my trip. Enjoy your weekend and see you next week with the stories from Luxembourg!
