Hello dear IHAEC readers, I arrived on Monday. I am Gerda (on the left) the new intern at the IHAEC. After meeting the new students and the rest of the IHAEC team we started with our workshop. I just graduated as a media artist and filmmaker so now I am very thrilled to share my knowledge and help guide the students through the video project. On the first day, Tuesday we looked at the medium film and its history. We spoke about how to brainstorm, create a story, a scenario, draw a storyboard, write dialogue and we studied all the basic technics. In the afternoon we proceeded with our own ideas. After a nice dinner all students went for a walk in the ROZENPARK, the roses are of many different colors and breed. Today on the Wednesday lecture we looked at various films and analyst short scenes. The films were: "Meet me in St. Louis" (1944), "Psycho" (1960), "L´eclisse" (1962), "Transformers" (2007) and "Once Upon a Time in the West" (1968). Film theory led our group to listing the several jobs on a film set. After so much theory we are all looking forward to apply the new knowledge soon :)
